The foundation for the garage must be leveled. The minimum is 6 concrete blocks laid around the perimeter, 4 in the corners and the other 2 in the middle of the wall.
Another option is to build a foundation, make a concrete floor or lay paving stones.
Below is a drawing with the arrangement of concrete blocks for a standard tin garage measuring 3 m wide by 5 m deep.
It is the customer’s responsibility to prepare the foundation before installation.
GROUND FOR TIN GARAGES – NOTE
In our garages there is an angle bar in the threshold as standard. In case of a flat base (floor, paving stones) it is recommended to use a flat bar. This is a paid option. Each garage must be fixed to the ground. The fixing can be done by the customer himself or by our company. Metal anchors are used for fixing to the ground, and metal-plastic dowels for the floor. It is also possible to fix the structure with chemical anchors.
Steel halls to individual order in any size. Apart from our own design of watchtowers and tin garages, Alicja”s offer includes custom-made halls. We are able to produce virtually any hall according to a customer’s project. We build halls constructed from closed angles, coated with corrugated sheet metal in a wide range of colours, with various types of roofs and gates.
